I set a timer for 30 minutes and selected two to three objects from my inspiration explosion and placed them on a neutral flat surface. For each object, I tried to get two to three “new perspective” images, capturing them in close-up, or from the bottom. I chose a ceramic vase (that looks like a hand) holding two red Lego roses, a Lattafa perfume bottle of the fragrance called Her Confession, and my go-to pearl brooch. When I was taking these photos, I was thinking about the visual style I have been creating as part of my personal brand aesthetic. Looking for angles and shapes that speak to my brand’s aesthetic, I created this inspiration board with the 9 photos I took. I named the inspiration board based on my collection: “Timeless Romance”.
Timeless Romance captures classical forms and romantic details through close-up perspectives inspired by objects I’m naturally drawn to. My favorite shot from the board is a close-up of the Lattafa perfume bottle. I love how the gold of the perfume bottle reflects on the satin drape on the table; it looks like the lady is glowing, she looks divine! That’s exactly the vision of this collection, any woman who puts on a piece from “Timeless Romance” should feel no less than divine!
